Sneak Peek and an Award!

Happy Sunday morning to you!

I've been so busy this week with baby room preps and house cleaning... and SLEEPING, of course! Hehehe! Isn't that what spring break is all about??

I've also been working hard on the second part of my Spring Unit. I wanted to make an Earth Day unit but then decided to put those activities with my plants and weather activities and make a unit out of it! Here is a sneak peek:

So far, I have made these activities:
  • word wall
  • scrambled words
  • sorting trash (recycling vs. garbage)
  • spring sentences
  • word web (using nouns and adjectives)
  • bean sprout project book (observation, recording, and findings)
  • plant needs
  • April showers: prediction, observation, recording, findings
  • math word problems
  • word search
  • list of online resources for teaching about plants and recycling
I am working on 2 art activities that I would like to add to the list. I should be done this week and I can't wait to share it with all of you!

I was thinking of putting it on TPT separately from my first spring pack but then I realize that some people might want to get both. Would it be a good idea to post them both separately and together? If you get them together, there would be a discount! Does this make sense? I'd love to get some advice from you ;)

I also wanted to share with you my latest blog award! Thank you to Lori at Teaching with Love and Laughter for this amazing surprise!

I feel so lucky to have followers who appreciate my blog. I love sharing all my ideas and adventures with you and I especially love getting all your sweet comments!

  2. When I do big units, I do exactly what you were saying...I list the big one at a discount and separate it into (let's say), literacy and math. And I actually have had people say thank you for doing that bc they only needed the math..or whatever

And thanks for the shout out!! You are super sweet!! I hope you don't go MIA when baby comes!! lol...But I kind of expect you to :)

  3. Thanks for the tip Jen! I'm going to be posting it this way so people have more options ;)

Me too, I hope I don't go MIA! lol

  4. The unit looks great! I totally agree with Jen because I do not teach math and there are so many units I don't purchase because I would be wasting so much of it. I love when language units are posted separate from math. I look forward to seeing the finished products!

  5. Thanks Dear Friend!!!
I can't wait to post about this and give YOU a little shout out! I'm also looking forward to to trying out some of the things you told me about!!! You're so good with this stuff! What takes me a week to figure out, you've got down in an hour!!!

Love you and hope we get together before baby is born!!!
