Fall Linky Party

Tomorrow is September 21st!
Do you know what that means?
That's right, my friends! It's the start of a new season!
Ah, Fall! Beautiful colors, warm sweaters, falling leaves, pumpkins.... The list goes on!
 I just LOVE Fall :)

I've been spending a lot of time on Pinterest lately and I have seen some pretty amazing ideas for this Fall season. There are so many wonderful classroom decorations, lesson ideas, and crafts! I decided I wanted to share them all with you but there are just too many. Instead, I had a wonderful idea! Wouldn't it be great if we could have the best of the best Fall ideas right here in one place?
Can you guess where I'm going with this??
That's right, people!
Let's have a Linky Party! Yay!!

I'd love it if everyone would join me in this party by linking up your Fall blog posts and/or TPT items. This way, we would have a fantastic (and hopefully, HUGE) list of ideas all in one spot.
Who's with me??

Okay, here are the rules!
You can link up as many blog posts and/or TPT items as you want.
TPT sellers: I'd love it if you could link up a blog post describing your item, if you have one, instead of sending people to your store directly. It's always fun to read a little bit about an item before heading to the store ;)
I'd also love love love if you guys can share this linky with your followers in order to get the party going! Feel free to use my button above :)

Yay!! I'm so excited to see what everyone will share!

Oh! I almost forgot to let you in on the best part... I will be choosing one lucky winner for this linky! Want to know what you can win??
Check it out!

I'll be choosing one person (who linked up, of course) next week.
This person will win my 4 Fall items!
**I'll be adding these to the link up so you can read all about them**
Good luck to all and Happy Linky :)

Congrats to...

It's Fall Y'all!

Hello everyone,

I'm here to tell you a little bit about my new Fall Unit!

There is something about Fall that I just love! It's probably all the beautiful colors :)

Every year, no matter what grade I am teaching, I take my students outside for a "Fall walk" and we take some time to observe all the changes in our school yard. We then write about our observations and make pictures.
This time, I'll be using my Scarecrow Craftivity to do this (you can read all about it HERE).

I decided that I needed some literacy and math centers so that we can have to "full Fall experience" in our class! Hehehe!

Here are previews of both my literacy and math activities:

This is a list of what you will find inside this HUGE pack:

Literacy Activities:
Word Wall
ABC Order - Both letters and CVC words (to practice short vowel sounds)
Beginning Sounds
Memory Game
Syllable Sorting
BINGO Game
Read/Write The Room

Math Activities:
Number Order
Number Card Game
More & Less (1,5,10)

Online Tools - Picmonkey

Have you seen this amazing website called Picmonkey??

It's FABULOUS!

You can create a photo collage in a minute flat! This has got to be the easiest online tool I have EVER used!

They have a huge assortment of layouts to choose from and they are completely editable. So you can choose a layout and then change the size of the boxes.

Then all you have to do is upload your pictures and drag them in the boxes! It's that easy!

You can even use this website to EDIT your pictures! It's amazing :)

I asked two of my buddies to share some of their classroom pictures in order for me to try this new tool. Look what I made!

This is my buddy Roxanne's classroom.

This is my buddy Isabelle's classroom.

I told them that I'd make them famous by sharing pictures of their classrooms on my blog! Hahaha!

Give them some LOVE by leaving me a comment ;)

** A HUGE thank you to Debbie for sharing this amazing website with me :)

In other news, I wanted to share my newest craft with you all!
It's a scarecrow!

I just LOVE Fall! I usually take my students outside to look a all the beautiful colors during the Fall season. We observe changes and then we write about it! They just love telling me what they saw on our "Fall Walk"!

This year, I wanted to create a craft to go with our Fall writing.
I also created a class survey to go with my craft and writing papers. My students will answer the question "Which Season Is Your Favorite?" and I will make a tally on the board. I will then distribute pictures that will be used to make a class graph! This is going to be so much fun!

Here is what you will find in my Scarecrow pack:
Craft:
* Templates for this craft.
* Questions to make this craft a glyph (optional).
* 3 different writing prompts (available with both primary and secondary lines)
* The title for your bulletin board is also included. Copy it on any colored paper, cut, and laminate!

Class Survey Activity:
* Worksheet - Students walk around the room asking their peers which season they like best.
* Everything you need to create a class graph - Titles, pictures for pictograph, instructions.

Click on the flower if you want to find it at my TPT store.

Have a good day,
