I'm linking up with Deb over at Fabulously First today to share some advice for new teachers!
I've only been teaching for 7 years now so I'm not even CLOSE to being a veteran teacher. However, I think I came up with some pretty good advice!
Keep your expectations high.
Never let someone tell you that your students will not be able to learn a new skill because, with you, they will!
Smile and stay positive.
Don't let anyone's negativity get in the way. Keep your eye on your goal and make sure you do everything in your power to achieve it! In our profession, it can be very easy to move on over to the "dark side" (the negative side). Don't do it, it will only make you miserable!
If you're not having fun, it may be time for you to think about changing your strategies and trying out new ones. This way, you have better chances of finding your "groove" and discovering what works for you.
I hope my advice will be helpful to some of you!
I've been working hard to update MANY of my products in my store so stay tuned for some new stuff ;)
